But then Team Rocket came and took over the Kanto Region, banning all pokemon training. Anyone caught battling their pokemon was sent away to jail for their crimes. Without pokemon training and the large businesses that profited from it, such as Silph Co., the Kanto Region has become nothing more than a shadow of it's former glory. The balance between two regions, Kanto and Johto, has been thrown off; and with Team Rocket occupying Kanto, it's only a matter of time before they start going after the Johto Region as well. What used to be a peaceful place has turned into a war zone.
It's time for trainers everywhere to join forces and get rid of Team Rocket; that's where the Resistance comes in. A group of mostly teenagers from the Kanto Region have joined together with their pokemon, battling and training their pokemon in secret, hoping one day to defeat Team Rocket and legalize pokemon training in the Kanto Region once again. But with Team Rocket so close to world domination, it's getting harder and harder for the Resistance to fight back. More and more of them are being thrown into jail, and the Kanto Region is falling farther and farther into depression.
As trainers joined together by our love for pokemon, it is up to us to take down the evil Team Rocket and create a better world for the people of both the Kanto and Johto Regions.
