Despite all the terrible things Lynx has done in his life, he's not a terrible person. He's just doing what he has to to get ahead in life, even if it means doing something he feels terrible about.

HISTORY --- Lynx was born in Pallet Town eighteen years ago to a very strict, conservative family. He had a relatively good childhood, though he never really clicked with his parents. He got into too much trouble and his parents frequently complained about his bad behavior. Lynx spent about half of his childhood years being "grounded". He ran away from home when he was in his early teenage years saying he was off to become a pokemon master, however, he spent most of those days on the streets, eating leftovers and scraps and stealing anything he could get his hands on.
He later joined Team Rocket in fear of losing his pokemon and to keep himself from becoming some sort of male prostitute. Being quite good at kissing ass when he has to, Lynx quickly ascended the ranks of the Rockets and found himself as an Executive. While he doesn't necessarily oppose the resistance (hell, even Lynx wants to see Kanto in all its former glory), it's his job to keep them from taking Kanto back, so he deals with them accordingly.
