So, to sum things up, Alphie is a melodramatic, unsympathetic, sarcastic bookworm who wants nothing more than for people just to leave him alone, and who isn't afraid to let you know how much you annoy him. But, if someone were willing to work with him enough, and convince him to drop that abrasive defense mechanism that he uses, they would be able to find him...more tolerable. No matter how close you are to him, he'll still be a jerk. He'll just be one in less..."vicious" way. He does have his good points.
( And despite how this bio might make him sound, he's totally a comic relief character. But don't tell him that. >> )
