HISTORY --- Raised in Ecruteak City with the temples as her home and a sage, whom she calls "Teacher", from as her guardian. Her childhood was very calm and peaceful not know much of what lay beyond the shelter of her quiet utopia. She was raised to become a sage and she busied herself helping around and caring for the Bell Tower which she considered her sanctuary, and always found herself hiding in whenever she was upset whether she intended to or not. When she was 7, it was discovered that she did have some psychic ability when she was discovered using it to help herself to freeing her ball when it was stuck in a tree. Though some of the sages had psychic pokemon, none of them were not to sure about psychokenetic powers, so they advised her not to use her power until someone could teach her to use them properly. Of course she was too tempted to play with them to obey, and secretly resolved to hone her powers on her own.
When she was told that she could have her own pokemon when she was of age, he wasn't too excited. In fact, she was rather reluctant. She couldn't imagine the world beyond Ecruteak; while others might be excited by that thought, it terrified her. But with some convincing she reluctantly agreed, and received an eevee before setting out on her own pokemon journey.
Eventually her homesickness wained as she continued her travels, and found that she greatly enjoyed being a trainer. Then one day, while she was traveling, someone mugged her, and after knocking her out stole her pokemon, and left her alone in the woods. When she came to hours later, she panicked; trying desperately to find her way out of the woods and find her pokemon. She never saw eevee again. But, while she was lost, she met a sneasel that ended up helping her out of the forest, though Yori refused to leave the side of the sneasel, and insisted that they stick together; now paranoid what would happen if she dared to be alone again. The sneasel, she later named Dante, joined her and the two had been together since.
While she went searching for her lost pokemon, she began catching more pokemon as well as training her pokemon, and herself in order to help prevent such an incident from happening again, before eventually returning to Ecruteak. After a half a year of returning to her previous life, news reached Johto of Kanto's situation; she tried not to be too involved, and prayed that a similar fate would not threaten Johto, but recalling what it was like to have her pokemon taken away has torn her between aiding the rebellion or staying neutral like others she knew.
