HISTORY --- Kallen and Ryder are twins born into the Phillips family seventeen years ago. Their history is really not all that interesting; the two of them lead a fairly normal life, nothing too out of the ordinary ever happened. However, one thing that has always separated Kallen and Ryder from the people around them was the belief that only when they're together are they a single "person" or being. They do everything together from traveling around the region and battling their pokemon to the simple things in life except peeing... that's usually a one-man task.
In the beginning, when the thought of going off on a pokemon journey was first suggested, it was only Ryder who was into the idea of going off and training pokemon. However, the thought of being apart from his twin brother made Kallen agree to come along (though usually he stands in the corner and nearly pisses himself in fear while Ryder does most of the battling).
