HISTORY --- Grace was born in Saffron City, Kanto, to a very wealthy businessman. Her father was a higher up of Silph Co., the largest manufacturer of Pokemon technology in the world. Raised to be a perfect lady, she was pampered with nearly everything money could buy. Unable to play like a normal child, due to her disability, she stayed inside for long hours at a time. Though her parents attempted to get her a higher education, it was too difficult, since she couldn't read. Thus, she pursued music, one of the few things that her parents approved of as "lady-like". But as weeks turned to months, and she still hadn't stepped foot outside, she became pale and sickly.

Hoping that it would improve her health, her parents sent her away, to go on her own "Pokemon journey". With two twin psychic-types (courtesy of her father) serving as her eyes, she wandered the region. Not caring to hurt her Pokemon, she didn't really battle anyone, just drifted from town to town. Yet, as Rocket's take over began, she started to worry. If Rocket took her Pokemon away... She'd relied upon them to serve as her eyes for so long. She'd be utterly lost without them. Thus, she began her training in earnest. She had to be able to defend her friends, after all. And so, she joined the resistance, if only for her darling Kirlias' sake.
